The City of Jennings Municipal Division under the guidelines of the 21St. Circuit Court is now operating in Phase III.
This allows the City of Jennings Municipal Division to move forward with in-person court proceedings, including trial proceedings.
Beginning July 13, 2021, The City of Jennings Municipal Division times will change from 11:00 am and 1:30 pm ZOOM to 11:00 am in-person (Housing and Trials) and 6:00 pm ZOOM.
According to the Presiding Judge of St. Louis County, ALL in-person court proceedings should be conducted in compliance with social distancing protocols and occupancy rate limitations applicable to the community. Please remember mask and social distancing are required when entering the Court Building if you feel ill or uncomfortable attending in-person court. Please contact the Court prior to your court date to reschedule for virtual court.
Instructions will also be posted on the doors of the Municipal Division on each court date; however, no one will be permitted to appear in person for court until further notice.

On June 04, 2019, The Jennings Municipal Division transitioned to the State of Missouri’s Show-Me Courts Docketing Software as mandated by the Presiding Judge of St. Louis County. The court is currently operating out of two court docketing software programs.

Municipal Court convenes at 6:00 pm on the first, third and fourth or last Tuesday of each month in the Courtroom, located at 7005 Florence Pl. Doors to the court room open at 5:00pm. Cases are heard on a first come, first-served basis. The Judge will call defendants in the order they have entered the Courtroom. THE CITY OF JENNINGS MUNICIPAL DIVISION IS MOVING FORWARD TO IN-PERSON PROCEEDINGS.SCHEDULED ZOOM DATES WILL BE POSTED ON WEBSITE AND DOORS OF THE COURT.
DAY COURT Municipal Court will also convene at 11:00 a.m. on the Fourth or last Tuesday of each month in the Courtroom. Doors to the Courtroom will open at 11:00am. Attorney call will be at 11:00 am. Day court will cover Housing cases and Trials.
GOVERNMENT CENTER ENTRY
Signage regarding limited entry/capacity will be posted on the door of the Municipal Division for those appearing for Municipal Court.
The questions asked of anyone desiring to enter the courtroom will address the following COVID-19 criteria for possible exposure or a person experiencing the disease:
Have you experienced a fever, trouble breathing, persistent cough, body aches, and/or loss of taste or smell in the last 24 hours?
Have you been in contact with anyone who has been diagnosed, tested positive or under investigation for COVID-19?
Temperatures will be taken of everyone prior to entering the building. *
If the answer is “yes” to any of these questions or the temperature of the person is above 100 degrees Fahrenheit, the defendant will be provided with a continuance for their court date. Defendant will be sent home.
All persons entering the building will be required to wear a mask or face covering. Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) will be provided to city employees. Masks will be provided for defendants if they do not have one in their possession.

All Defendants, under the age of 18, must appear with a parent or legal guardian
All electronic devices must be turned off
