I understand and agree to the following:
If my bid is accepted by the City of Jennings, payment is due before 3:00 p.m. the day following bid opening. Payment must be cash, cashier check or money order, made payable to the City of Jennings. If payment is not made the day of the bid opening, proof of funds must be provided. Provide one (1) original and two (2) copies of this Bid Form. Write on the front of the envelope, Attention City Clerk, along with the address of the property you are bidding on. Also, include your contact information on the front of the envelope so that you may be contacted if needed. Deliver or mail the sealed envelope(s) by the bid deadline to Jennings City Hall at 2120 Hord Avenue; Jennings, MO 63136. If you are mailing your bid, it must be received by the deadline.
All properties awarded are required to complete the Residential Vacant Property Registration and Residential Vacant Property Exterior Inspection. Refer to the City of Jennings Ordinance 2478 Section 400-4. A copy of the Ordinance and Registration Form will be provided if needed. Do not turn any utilities on until your Quitcliam Deed has been recorded with St. Louis County releasing the City of Jennings as owner.
