City of Jennings and Walgreens to Co-Host Mass Vaccination Event on Thursday, April 15, 2021

TO CO-HOST A MASS VACCINATION EVENT ON
THURSDAY, APRIL 15, 2021
Mayor Yolanda Austin is pleased to announce that the City of Jennings and the Jennings Walgreens will co-host a mass vaccination event on Thursday, April 15, 2021, from 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. at the Jennings Tharp Civic Center located at 8720 Jennings Station Road; 63136*. The second round of the vaccine will be administered on Thursday, May 13, 2021.
Eligible individuals who are interested in getting vaccinated should register for an appointment, through Walgreens’s appointment scheduler, by scanning the QR Code on the Walgreens flyer. The flyer is posted on the City of Jennings website (www.cityofjennings.org), at City Hall located at 2120 Hord Avenue, and on the city's social media outlets.
Walk-ins will be accepted while supplies last. There are approximately 500 doses available. Walgreens plans to co-host more events in the City of Jennings as more vaccines become available.
Mayor Austin would like to thank Walgreens and the Jennings Walgreens’s District Manager, Kevin Block, for this opportunity for the residents to get vaccinated and to continue in keeping our community safe and healthy during the pandemic.
*Masks will be required and temperatures will be taking and social distancing guidelines will be in place per the St. Louis County Department of Public Health current mandates.
