POLICE OFFICER

The City of Jennings is accepting applications for the position of police officer. P.O.S.T (Police Officer Standard Training) certification required from the Missouri Department of Public Safety, to meet the requirements for police work in a first class county in Missouri –OR- proof of current enrollment in police academy which will result in the above certification. Starting salary of $34,652.80

Applications available at Jennings City Hall between the hours of 8:30 a.m. and 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, or online at jenningspolice.org. Applications must be returned to City Hall, 2120 Hord Ave, Jennings, MO 63136, to the attention of the City Clerk. Applications must be returned or postmarked by October 28, 2008.

SCHOOL CROSSING GAURD

The City of Jennings is accepting applications for the position of school crossing guard. The crossing guard will cover a one hour shift in the morning and a one hour shift in the afternoon, Monday through Friday, on those days that school is in session. The rate of pay is $7.25 per shift, or $72.50 per week when both shifts are worked five days per week. Applications are available at Jennings City Hall, 2120 Hord Ave., from 8:30 a.m. through 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday. Applications will be accepted through July 11th or until the positions are filled.

Results of job related tests and background investigations, where applicable, will also be taken into consideration.
